20 Months!
For a while now, Katya has had some fairly set answers to a few questions. What does that person/animal eat? Beans. What were they doing? Hopping. Oh, wait, who was hopping? Grandma.
Milestones this week: Katya answered “No” to a question for the first time. Also, she actually told us she wanted to skip her bath and go to sleep. Plus, she fell asleep without bouncing twice since I don’t know when. These were both late and with a cold, but still.
Here’s another good video, from 2 months ago. Katya still does “Head, Shoulders, Knees and Toes” this way. Please note the pumpkin “head.” Please don’t note the mid-organizing mess in the background. 🙂

For some time now, Katya’s favorite solo activity has been rummaging around in drawers and cabinets.
Carousel and Ernie books continue to be favorites. I also brought out a book called Robert Crowther’s Most Amazing Pop-Up Book of Machines and most nights Katya wants Bill to read it to her when he gets home.
